OUR STORY

Kisco River proprietor, Bobby Epstein, grew up in Bedford, N.Y., and started in the restaurant industry 21 years ago when he purchased a small hotel and fine dining restaurant on the tropical island of Bimini, Bahamas. It was there that he honed his love for fresh seafood watching the local fisherman pull up to the restaurant's dock with their fresh catch each day.

After 16 years in the Bahamas, and never shying away from a new challenge, Bobby moved back to his hometown of Bedford and opened Social on 6 Restaurant in Mahopac,N.Y. After several years of success with Social on 6, he was told that the legendary Muscoot Tavern in Katonah was up for sale.

Having frequented the Muscoot as a child, he jumped on the opportunity and purchased the Muscoot where he knew that he could build on his passion for providing patrons with high quality seafood delivered fresh each day and other locally sourced ingredients.

Building on his many culinary successes and his passion for great food, Bobby opened the Kisco River Eatery, named after the nearby Kisco River, where Bobby fished as a young boy.

This new restaurant has been completely redesigned and transformed into an elegant, intimate dining space that has quickly become a local favorite for fine dining and the place to gather with family and friends.

Bobby's vision and passion for fresh, interesting food, served in a friendly environment with affordable prices make him a wonderful patriarch of the Kisco River Eatery.
